Safe Rides Cash Back

Safe Rides Cash Back is an Associated Students Inc. program that provides reimbursements to Sac State students for taking an Uber, Lyft or Taxi home with the goal of preventing incidents related to drinking and driving that lead to accidents, DUI/DWI arrests, and death.

Sac State students will be reimbursed up to a total of $20 each semester (while funds last) for rides they take home during Safe Rides operational hours fall and spring semesters / Wednesdays – Saturdays / 10pm – 2am.

ASI is not liable for any incidents associated with the rides and students are taking rides at their own risk. ASI does not guarantee reimbursements for all rides. Requests must have proper documentation and will only be reimbursed until the max amount of allotted funds per semester is reached.
